Long Dong Silver and Mars Habitat ride

We will travel to Hanksville area on the 13th and ride on the 14th. So there are two routes to Hanksville area. 1. You can travel SR24 through Capitol Reef national park to Hanksville or 2. I15 to I70 through Salina canyon at the top will be the SR24 exit for Hanksville. The ride route is established and will include the Skyline Rim. Make sure you have plenty of fuel. Lunch, water, drinks, snacks
ride length is approx. 75 miles.I spoke to Kurt Thomas from Dukes RV park in Hanksville. He has both cabins with two queen beds a/c and RV spots with full hookups. He will discount price for our stay in Hanksville. $165.00 for a cabin for the night or $40 for an RV spot. There is a restaurant on the property should you want them to make you a lunch for the ride the next day. Make your reservation as soon as possible.
